Favorite Cup of Coffee in Columbus

“Coffee is a lot more than just a drink; it’s something happening. Not as in hip, but like an event, place to be, but not like a location, but like somewhere within yourself. It gives you time, but not actual hours or minutes, but a chance to be, like be yourself, and have a second cup.”

-Gertrude Stein, Selected Writings

If you know anything about the public relations industry, you know it’s fast-paced and ever-changing. A good cup of coffee is practically our best friend, and we’re lucky enough to have local coffee shops that make the best coffee around!

Stephanie

Yalla’s founder, Stephanie, spends her life on-the-go and is most likely grabbing her coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts.

However, lately, she has been loving Sputnik Coffee’s roast.

You can typically find Stephanie ordering her coffee with a splash of milk and sugar.

Katie

Katie, the co-founder of Yalla, loves the classic taste of drip coffee. Her go-to coffee shop is Fountain City Coffee on Broadway. She typically orders a blend of the World drip coffee.

On days when she isn’t ordering on-site, she is making her pour-over using the coffee shop’s beans.

Katie takes her coffee with a shot of milk and agave simple syrup.

Gabby

Gabby, Yalla’s Director of Buzz, is also a frequent customer of Fountain City Coffee!

On a typical day, Gabby is ordering their 007 blend with a splash of oat milk.

Her next destination? CoWork Columbus to get ahead on the work week!

Camille

Our favorite Texan, Camille, is a sucker for Iron Bank Coffee Co.’s iced Monkey Business.

This latte is full of flavors such as banana, vanilla, and white chocolate.

When ordering this drink, Camille typically asks for almond milk as a substitute!

Kate

Our newest member of the team usually works from Midtown Coffee House. Kate is very passionate about drinking iced coffee all year.

Her drink of choice? An iced vanilla latte.

However, when she doesn’t feel like splurging, she orders a medium pour over with room for cream!
